James
Atilano Has been working on multimedia projects for various Design
firms
For the past 8 years. He specializes in animation for Development,
Architecture, Interior Design and Steel Manufacturing visualizations
of high profile projects. He has extensive knowledge of several
3d applications as well as motion graphics applications. He has
explored sound editing and is currently producing and recording
his musical project
“A Phunki Dialectic” with his brother and band member
Richard Rodriguez. The project can be described as a hybrid of electronic
and analog beats accompanied by a series of complex melodic guitar
parts. The album ranges from under produced “folk guitar”
tracks to “throw your tv out the window” tracks with
lots of studio editing tricks.
He
recently joined the realm of film after being commissioned by Director
Laurie Goretski to create the opening title sequence for the film
“The White Room”. He used a combination of visual effects
to set the mood for the film and introduce the characters in an
eerie simplistic montage of imagery and Text. The images used were
photographed on set by Goretski and Atilano, digitized and manipulated
to recreate the feeling of “The White Room”. James was
responsible for technical and creative direction for the opening
title sequence, end credits, and graphic work for the films Identity
and Branding.
James
Atilano is constantly looking for new ways to express himself and
fully embraces the challenge to explore new avenues of media and
technology. He is diligent in his resolve to stay constantly evolving.
