Hey, this is Scott, let me tell you about how I met Laurie.  I went to see a couple of bands play at the El Rey Theatre in LA.  I've been waiting to see these bands for a very long time and I had planned earlier in the night to take some really "great pictures" of the bands.  I brought a nice camera with plenty of film, I was set.  Once my band came on, I was ready.  Here come the pictures, "click, click", no flash.  Tried again, same thing happened.  Then the camera, with a mind of its own, just stopped working.  I was so upset.  I saw all of these bright flashes going on around me and that just made it worse.  So I went to the men's bathroom to sulk and get a better look at the camera.  That's when I saw Laurie, she strolled in commenting on the women's line to the bathroom being to long.  I admired her zeal, we started talking.  She mentioned she had a camera in her car and offered her assistance.  She said, "Give me your address & I'll send you the pictures you want."  I thought that was nice but, thought she was joking.  But within a couple of weeks, she was a woman of her word, and we've been cool ever since.  That was about 7 years ago, at least.  Then one day, years later after knowing how cool & competent I am, she asked me if I would like to join the crew of The White Room.  We went through all the responsibilities that would be needed from me and the rest is history.

Back in 1990 I was a DJ at the club in Hollywood called: The Theatre of Vampires, Style: Industrial, Goth, & Darkwave.  I did that for about a year.  Then the same people wanted me back in 92', the name of the club was: D.O.A.  Then in 94' I began Djing for a club known as: Wake.  That was a fun experience for me, which while doing club Wake I was also Djing at club: Catastrophe.  Also for about 3 years I was the DJ at the well-known Ontario club: N Fear of Fear.  I've also done a lot of house parities and small gatherings for people who had heard of me on the club circuit by word of mouth.  I now secure buildings and work the door for private and business outfits.  The way I see it, the more experience you have in life, in anything, the more you improve yourself.  And that's what life is all about.  In my spare time I am an artist.  I draw, paint, and on occasions do landscapes when I'm in the mood.  I guess in a nutshell it all sums up just one thing.....that I am "the one".
