The
Man:
Stephan was born in Michigan to a single mother of twenty
years and whisked to the glorious gates of Los Angeles, at the
age of seven. The
story book tale goes a little something like this: mom has son,
mom & son move to L.A., mom meets man, man marries mom, man
& son don't quite get along, man hits son & son leaves
home. Son now on
street moves from city to city, shelter to shelter, to group home
& finally from group home to college in beautiful San Diego
- only to return to the glorious gates of Los Angeles from whence
he came to pursue his dreams. Is this a TV movie or what?
After supporting himself and completing U.C. San Diego's
performing arts programming, he returned to L.A. and fell into
casting. Stephan loved it and intended to cast
for only eight months that led to a five-year saga that ended
almost three years ago.
He has returned to doing what he loves and why he returned
to L.A. originally - to be an artist.
Stephan has devoted himself solely to this goal and building
his career. He has reconnected himself to his path, his passion, his heart,
and his dream. Now
that he is back on the path, it will take more than any one man
acting alone or all men acting together to get him to turn away
again.
The
Myth:
1)
Stephan is Rosemary's
Baby. No he is not.
At times he may have thought he was, but he is clear on
that subject now.
2)
Stephan wanted
to become an actor because when he was very young one of the first
movies he saw was, "Escape from Witch Mountain,"&
he stood up in the audience and yelled, "I can do better
than that!" Also untrue. Okay, that one is trueÉ but don't tell
anyone.
3)
People were
shocked that Stephan possessed a great skill in the form of the
written word. True. The most common response heard, "Who
knew he could write too!"
4)
Stephan prefers
drama to comedy. Stephan
PREFERS paying his rent over paying attention to his ego.
5)
Stephan loves
chicken and watermelon.
Well yes, he does.
But I don't see what that has to do with anything?! (Besides,
Stephan is a Fishitarian anyway. Huh?)
6)
Stephan doesn't
like boxes. Untrue. He just doesn't belong in one.
7)
Janet Jackson
is Stephan's baby's momma.
No, she is not, but he will tell you differently. (And no, he doesn't have any kids - at
least none we're aware of)
8)
Stephan wrote
a book. Yes he did. Just nobody's read it.
9)
Stephan thinks
he's funny. WellÉwe
all just smile and nod our heads.
THE
BEST KEPT SECRET: That's
just it he is the best-kept secret.
